The Project for Capacity Development on Transportation Planning and Database Management in the Republic of the Philippines

  • The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) aims to prepare a public transportation plan. This will help improve the public transportation planning system in Metro Manila, including coordination among relevant agencies, spearheaded by the said government agency.

Among the expected outcomes of the project are the following:

  • Capacity to manage the transportation database targeting Metro Manila is improved
  • Capacity for public transportation planning targeting Metro Manila is improved
  • Capacity for coordination and policy formulation for public transportation
