Secondary Education Development and Improvement Project - School Mapping Exercise (SEDIP-SME)

  • The Asian Development Bank (ADB) funded project developed a rational school development prioritization scheme for constructing new or improving existing school buildings for secondary education using GIS technology.

SRDP provided the following services for the project:

  • Design and Preparation of GIS Database for 14 Social Reform Agenda provinces in the Philippines covering natural, social, school, and hazard conditions
  • Spatial analysis and preparation of various thematic maps
  • Technical transfer to personnel of Department of Education
