  • The project developed an integrated and fully-customized comprehensive GIS for the Municipality of Baras, Province of Rizal, Philippines wherein all major operating systems of the Local Government were linked. It supports the Land Use and Development and Environmental Management of the municipality. Graphics, statistics, and other usable formats may also be retrieved by the public. Other components include automated systems for real property administration and tax mapping, business permits and licensing, financial management facility, executive and legislative information, local civil registry, tricycle registration, etc.

SRDP provided the following outputs/services for the project:

  • Detailed GIS database of the municipality using house to house survey; the database includes information such as address, household/business establishment information and house structure information
  • Real property GIS map that will be linked to the municipal real property database
  • Spatial analysis and preparation of various thematic maps
