JICA Needs Assessment Survey on the Disaster Caused by Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng

The project objective is to study about the flood damages caused by the Typhoons Ondoy and Pepeng for the needs assessment survey on disaster rehabilitation/reconstruction in the affected areas, like Metro Manila, its surrounding provinces including some parts of Luzon.
For this study, SRDP was involved in the preparation of GIS base map for Metro Manila, including the Pasig-Marikina River watershed, location maps of the existing flood control structures, and flood inundation maps caused by the two major typhoons.
